Following a career in education, Sheelagh now focuses on engaging with communities to support the transition to renewable energy and achieve warmer homes for everyone. As co-leader of a successful campaign against fracking, she has been a frequent speaker at local and national events.

Sheelagh is one of the Tideswell Repair Café organisers and volunteers at the community Warm Welcome Space and monthly Tea Club. She enjoys walking her dogs, playing music and learning to paint in watercolour.
