From 2010 to 2022,  Andy was CEO and Director of Local Energy Limited (LE). LE was started to provide advice to local authorities on the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) legislation and established a network of 70 local authorities and other public bodies to begin carbon trading. In 2013 LE was registered as a Green Deal Provider and over two years secured about £5M of Energy Company Obligation funds to aid fuel poverty in the North East of England.

Andy is Secretary for  Bradwell Community Land Trust and throws himself into the annual pantomime. In his spare time he enjoys walking, skiing and travelling.
